| Multitude of thanks to Phil for running one of the most amazing rides out today to Spean Bridge and all the other places! Great pace, great company, perfect weather (don't quite know how he sorted that one) and incredible roads. On the way up to Inverness I lost my tank bag. It had my very expensive new phone, a Kenwood radio transmitter thingy for the autocom and my purse with my ID, bank cards etc. Oh, and the house key, so not only can folk find out and use my cards, they can probably let themselves in tonight and help themselves to the house contents! Oops! What this means is that I am still reachable by e-mail, this forum etc, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for the phone. If you use the landline to reach me, keep in mind we have 3 teenagers in the house, so any info is at your own risk and has absolutely no guarantee to reach me, despite what they might actually say to you! Can't decide whether it is wine or chocolate I need to make everything seem OK! | |

Sure there are still some honest folk out there. | |

| Sorry about you losing your bag Diane.Have you phoned your mobey and asked for it to be returned by the person who answers? Yes it was a great run organised by Phil. Roads, weather and company were all great never heard one complaint during the 350 miles I travelled. Just goes to show a longer run at a brisk pace is certainly viable for those that want to participate. Yes I'd certainly go with any of you again, thanks to all for a nice day. Dan | |

| I don't know, feed the man a banana at half time and he goes all soft on us!!!! Not much progress on the tank bag issue, but at least we haven't all been killed in our beds yet with someone using my house key. Holding out for the insurance to try to be a little bit understanding and also clueless about bikes, magnets and speed! We did retrace our route yesterday but mostly got travelsick from staring at the verges for 80 miles. The ride home was good though, and James treated me to an ice-cream. Remember I have no money or bank cards now! Actually, thinking about it, James does seem to be enjoying my predicament more than is appropriate. | |
