Altberg Boots

Altberg boots have arranged to have one of their boot fitters in Aberdeen and Inverurie. If you haven't heard of them here's a link to their website Altberg Boots

Alternatives are to order online or to visit their factory in Richmond, Yorkshire. They often have a stand at the big motorcycle shows.

Here's a rundown of the dates, times and locations:
Saturday May 8th - Perth - 09.00-17.00
Sunday May 9th - Inverness - 12.00 - 16.00
Saturday May 22nd - Inverurie - 09.00 - 17.00
Sunday May 23rd - Aberdeen - 12.00 - 16.00

The location is Craigdon Mountain Sports in each town. The email I received says the fitting is predominantly for walking/outdoor boots but they will have motorcycle boots on display. You need to make an appointment if you intend to have a fitting done - at the shop of your choice.

I forgot to say the name of the boot fitter - don't laugh - it's Nigel Cocks! You couldn't make it up could you!

I'm planning to make my next pair of boots Altberg as they make an excellent range of boot and are used by the military and police forces around the UK.

many years ago, I had a pair of their gold tops ................ proper biker with my white socks rolled over the top.

I was going to get these as my latest boots as I had them highly recommended and had taken a look at them in Edinburgh but I discovered that I have a very high instep and their standard boots will not go on.
They were willing to modify them , or build a pair to suit but you have to visit the factory for a fitting , go home to await their construction and then return for another fitting which with mileage and overnight costs added in made them un-economic for me.
Went with Daytona's instead and have been happy with them.
