Missile BOB

Been reading om Aberdeen bikers that (Missile)Bob Had a Off with his bike and wondered if anyone knows How he is doing .

Seems common knowledge on Aberdeen Bikers site .Surprised nothing on here.

Any way Hope Bob Gets well soon.

We only found out through the comments on Aberdeen Bikers at the same time, hence no entry on here.

An update on Pharis's entry re visiting -

Spoke with Lorraine in last 1/2 hour and says Bob is pretty shattered after 2 ops on his pelvis and has open chest wound, hence concern for infection.

She asks visits are put on hold for a few days and will let me know when he's in a better condition for visitors.

Well he must be on the mend hopefully - I've just had an email from him. Unless Lorraine sent it out on his behalf? Anyway sounds like he's planning to pack in the bikes Must have been a bad one.

Just spoken to Lorraine today.

Bob is making good progress and will probably be up for visitors next week. He is currently starting physio and is pretty tired.

One request though Bob has open chest wound and can't afford to get any infections. So if you think you've a cold etc., leave off visiting meantime. Thanks.

Bob has improved and been moved to Juniper Ward at Woodend.

Visiting afternoon times 2.30 - 4.30. Not sure about evening.

Glad to here he is on the mend .

Went to see Bob at 2.30 pm today but he left hospital at 2.00pm to go home. Nurse said he was doing OK. Maybe he'll let us know?

Many thanks for all your best wishes and a special thankyou to those who came in to brighten my day. I can't tell you how good it feels to have your support. I am sorry I did not post earlier, but Patientline have restridted access to "dodgy" sites

I should still be in hospital, but I begged and pleaded to get home and after a stern warning about not overdoing things the doc let me loose. I am feeling a little better every day and if you want to visit you are all very very welcome.

So be good and do as the doc says and take it easy, or we will get Amanda and Diane to come round in their nurses uniform and sort your out ...lol!

So start reading all the back issue of Bike magazine and the like, relax and you will be back to full health very soon.

That wouldn't do any good - now how about me and you threaten to come round in OUR nurses outfits - that would definitely have the desired effect.

I think mine's still in the wardrobe but I'll need to get new stockings..........
