Honda Ecosse Open Eveing - This Wednesday

Just in case you haven't had an email from Mike F about this:

"Hi Folks a reminder that this Wednesday we are meeting at Honda escosse in Hutcheon Street Aberdeen. Note time, it is 6.30 for 7pm.



They will be giving a demo on road side repairs on punctures tyres and no doubt they will be providing us with the usual refreshments.

Well despite the terrible weather - it snowed all the way from Oldmeldrum to Hutcheon Street for me - we had a good turn out. I counted over 20 people in the showroom before we went through to the workshop.

I'll be putting a full report in the next newsletter but thought people might be interested in the tyre repair kit as demonstrated by Stuart.

We also got an insight into the modern bike MOT system and what they check nowadays - very illuminating - especially the bit about side and number plate lights. Just shows that what the law requires and what's actually necessary for safety are always poles apart!
