BIKE THIEVES -- WATCH OUT

Bike thieves are back on the go.
This morning at Culter, five lock-ups were broken into.
Nothing stolen as they were disturbed by dogs barking at 5 AM.

But these guys normally make a call every 10 or 12 weeks.
My grandson had his M/C stolen 5 years ago and his lock-up
has had a regular visit to see if he's had a replacement.

Suppose we've just got to accept this.

I thought it would be better in a more affluent area? How long would a bike be safe in Tillydrone?

But these guys are mobile and from Garthdee, Mastrick and Northfield.
The gang are well organised and "do" an area every other night.
They probably have record cards showing which bike is in which lock up.
Over the five years since my grandson's M/C was stolen, I seem to know when a "visit" is due.
WE know who they are but "human rights" seem to be the priority
rather than "knee caps" being attended to.
It's probably Westhill/Kingswells tonight and Dyce/ Bucksburn following that.
DOUBLE LOCK YOUR GARAGE and preferably have a car against the garage door.
This would slow down the thieving process a wee bit.

UPDATE

It's now 16 garages broken into and one car (trying to remove the stereo)
Times from 12 midnight 'til about 5 AM within a half mile radius in Malcolm Road, Culter.
