Real time Traffic Websites

I'm sure you're all aware of the Traffic Scotland website - if not you can find it at:

TRAFFIC SCOTLAND

If your'e planning a journey anywhere in Scotland take a look at this site before you leave. It'll show you any roadworks or current incidents. You can even look through the traffic cameras dotted around the area for actual weather conditions rather than rely on the likes of the Met Office to get it wrong for you.

In addition if you're planning a trip south of the border then there's an English equivalent - just found this today actually:

I haven't had a chance to look at this site yet so don't know what features it has but it's got to be worth a look.

I've just had a look and guess what? There's even a Traffic Wales site for anyone crazy enough to want to visit the area!

I don't know why they bothered building these defenses. You just get on the motorway and go straight through them. Futile!
You'd think they'd have seen something as big as the M6 and thought "Hmm maybe we need to build the wall across that as well?"

M6? Tiny car park going the length of foreign parts! No problem. Not worth the effort. keeps the little foreigners happy!
